Mrs. Adolph Duchow, 59, of Potter, died suddenly late Wednesday afternoon at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Appleton, after a short illness.
Nee Ida Lerche, she was born May 26, 1895, in Town Rantoul, and settled on a farm in the township after her marriage to Adolph Duchow on Dec. 18, 1913. In 1941, the couple moved to Hilbert where they operated the Red Raven Inn until 1946, and then moved to Potter where Mr. Duchow died Nov. 13, 1952.
Mrs. Duchow was a member of the Germania Society, the Peace Evangelical and Reformed Church, Potter, and was affiliated with the Women's Guild and Ladies' Aid Society of the church.
Survivors are two sons, Lawrence and Reuben, of Potter; a daughter, Mrs. Ernst (Margaret) Glassman, Oshkosh; eight grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Arwin Mathes, Kiel.
