In Memoriam - Mrs. Ethel A. Dean.

Ethel A. Dean, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.E. Patty, was born in Benedict May 19, 1884; departed this life peacefully at her present home in Benedict on the morning of April 12, 1910, aged 25 years, 10 months and 23 days.

It seems sad to see one so young and useful, and who desired so much to live, cut down so early in life. "God's will be done." God's summons came and she answered the call. We, too, in time must answer to our names, for the Master gently calls us one by one. In September, 1905, she was united in marriage by Rev. E.H. Knepp to Frank G. Dean. Two sweet children, Viriginia May, now three years old, and Clyde Gerald, five months old, came to grace their hearthstone. Last winter, under the ministry of Rev. Walter Pysher, Sister Dean heard her Savior's call. She surrendered her life to him and united with the Christian church at this place. Sister Dean will be greatly missed. She was cheerful, affectionate and kind. The memory of her precious life will be a benediction and blessing to us all, we trust. "Our loss will be her gain."

She leaves a husband, two children, father, mother, three brothers, four sisters and other relatives to mourn her loss.
