John Smith of Medfield married Jemima Fales, d/o Peter Fales and Sarah Allen of Walpole, Feb. 7, 1754 in Walpole. (Walpole, MA - Marriage Records, 173. Smith, John (int. of Medfield) and Jemima (int. Jemine) Fales, Feb. 7, 1754.) Jemima is buried in grave 73 and John in grave 74.

John was heir to his grandfather, John Turner, and lived upon his homestead, now owned by Stephen F. Turner. He married Jemima Fales of Walpole, who died in 1822, aged eighty-eight. He served as a selectman in 1764 and 1765. He died in 1802."
