ALBANY -- Gerald (Jerry) E. Fagan Sr., age 68, of Central Ave., died Monday, October 18, 2004 at the Albany Medical Center Hospital. Born in Albany, he was a lifetime area resident. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Korean War. Jerry worked for 25 years as a self-employed painter, retiring in the mid 1990s. Jerry was the father of Leo Michael Fagan of Montgomery, N.Y., Carole (Shelly) Lawrence and her husband Thad of New York Mills, N.Y. and Gerald (Jerry) E. Fagan Jr. and his wife Samantha K. of Clifton Park; stepfather of Robert Joseph Piescor of Watervliet, Kimberly Ann Piescor of Tempe, Ariz. and the late James Walter Piescor; grandfather of Michael, Jennifer, Erica, Seth, Patrick, Jessica, Meredith, Eric, Jeremy and Daniel; brother of Catherine (Joseph) Pezzula of Colonie, Joseph (Barbara) Fagan of Albany, Anna Brown of Snow Hill, Md. and the late Francis, Leo, William, Mary and James Fagan. Jerry's family would like to extend a special thank you to Carol Chmielinski, Evelyn Biliven and Bill Engle for their love and support. Funeral 8:00 Thursday morning from the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Colonie and at 9:00 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 607 Central Ave., Albany,. Burial will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie.
