Richard Brian Parry, 60, died on September 25, 2002, at his home in San Jose, California. Mr. Parry was born on October 2, 1941, in Westerly, Rhode Island, the son of John Edward Parry and Laurette Annette (Belair) Parry. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1958-1961 as a light mechanic and was honorably discharged on March 20, 1961. He later worked for Sylvania Corporation and after that at California Microwave Incorporated as a project engineer. At the time of his death, he was employed by CRJ Electric of San Jose as project manager. He is survived by his wife, Gail; his son Brent Marini and his wife, Christina, and their son Joseph; by his siblings: John and Joan Parry of Orleans, Carol Goin of Visalia, California, and Donald and Suzanne Parry of West Warwick, Rhode Island. He was predeceased by his father and mother, John and Laurette Parry; and by his sister Judy Ann Welch. Other survivors include nieces and nephews: Jeffrey Parry, Jonathan and Janice Parry, Ed and Laurie Longo, Carol Parry, Kelly Krieger, John Krieger, Danny Krieger, Edwin Lewis, Michael Goin, and Annette Goin. A memorial graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 19, at Pleasant View Cemetery in Orleans.
