STEED FUNERAL IS HELD TUESDAY
RETIRED FARMER, 85, OF GENEVA, DIES AT HOSPITAL
Daniel Robert Steed, 85, Geneva, a retired farmer, died at 9:30 p.m. Saturday in the Adams County memorial Hospital, where he had been admitted earlier in the day. He had been in failing health for a period of time.
Surviving are the widow, Stella; a son, Harry, Elkhart; three daughters, Mrs. Joe Waplehorst and Mrs. Elmer Oblinger, both of Mishawaka and Mrs. George Schisler of Geneva; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Rites were held at the Hardy Funeral Home at Geneva at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday. Burial is at Riverside Cemetery.
