Alice Alberta "Allie" Weber was born in Fort Madison, Iowa, across the Mississippi River from Hancock County, Illinois, where her parents had a farm. She was born on November 28, 1888, the third of five children born to Albert James Weber and Josephine ("Josie") Kimes Weber. Her parents were both from the Hancock County (Illinois) area, with her father Albert a native of Appanoose Township and her mother Josie hailing from Pontoosuc. Allie would be the "middle" child in the family, with two older sisters and two younger brothers.

Albert and Josie Weber moved the family to the Hurdland area of Knox County, Missouri, in the 1890s. While in Missouri, in the mid-1900s, Maude met Adam ("Ad") O. Fox and they were married on November 29, 1906, the day after Allie's 18th birthday. They were wed in Knox County at the home of Allie's parents, Albert and Josie. Allie and Ad would eventually have two daughters, Clover and Josephine, both born in Missouri.

Allie and Ad remained in Missouri for the remainder of their lives. Allie became a widow in June of 1969 upon the death of her husband. She lived another 10 years following Ad's death, celebrating her 90th birthday on November 28, 1978.

She died in Hurdland, Missouri, on October 6, 1979.
