KIM'S PERSONAL MEMORIES : David always said : "EVERYTHING TASTES BETTER WITH AN EGG".
A THOUGHT FROM HIS BROTHER :
David was a survivor, first and foremost. He gave cancer a good fight and took it's damages squarely "on the chin". Up until his last few days, he always found a way to enjoy a good breakfast sandwich, enjoy a good football game, & a pay off at a Reno slot machine. I'll always remember my brother's grin and his willingness to "lend it, if he had it". If you went to eat, he'd always want to pay the bill.
The last words that Dave said to me was : "I'm going over to the other side" and with his right hand gave the motion of "going over". Today, he's gone; He went "over", but as sad as that fact is, now he's far away from cancer and all the agony that it brought him.
David was a survivor. He'd run like hell if he had to, but he'd always survive to grin about it later.
