Wilson Boyd Pettibone was a lumber magnate and philanthropist. He created a National Register Park for Historic Places in Hannibal, Missouri-Hannibal Riverview Park. The park is 465 acres of forested land on the limestone bluffs of north Hannibal. It offers scenic views of the Mississippi River. In 2005, Riverview Park was placed on the National Register for Historic Places.
