REBURIAL RITES FOR PFC. VANCE EYLER SCHEDULED SUNDAY

The body of Pfc. Vance W. Eyler, who was killed overseas, arrived in Hagerstown Tuesday for reburial services.

The body was removed to the Rest Haven Chapel where services will be held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock with his pastor, Rev. Charles M. LeFew, officiating; burial in Memorial Garden at Rest Haven, in charge of the American Legion.

Pfc. Eyler was a member of Washington Square Methodist Church. He was a graduate of the local high school and was employed at Fairchild Aircraft before going overseas. He joined the armed forces in February, 1944. He was wounded in action on December 17, 1944, during the Battle of the Bulge and died on December 19. He was a member of 707th Tank Battalion.

He is survived by his wife Mrs. Catherine Eyler; daughters, Sandra Ann, Donna Jean, at home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter S. Eyler; brothers and sisters, Mrs. Richard Kretzer; Jean and Joyce at home; Walter, Geary and Ronnie of Hagerstown; grandfather, A. N. Eyler, Hagerstown.
