Johann Nicholas Boschung and his family arrived in October 1732, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as German-Swiss Palatines on the Pink John and William. His family used the anglicized spelling of his name - Bushong. His brother, Hans John Bushong IV (1692-1749) , had immigrate the prior year.

Nicholas and Magdalena died soon after moving to Lancaster County.

Both brother's descendants number in the thousands and they are the predecessors of the American Colonial Bushong Family.

Nicholas and Magdalena are known to have had at least six children....
