Bonnie Faye Taylor Yocum, age 64 of Winnfield, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria.
Mrs. Yocum was a native of Ward 10 in Winn Parish and was a graduate of Calvin High School. She was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Mrs. Yocum was the daughter of the late Huey P. Taylor and the late Lola Jean O'Neal Taylor. She is survived by her stepmother Glennie Taylor of Reidheimmer, La., two sons Darren Yocum and his wife Sue of Idaho, and Delaine Yocum and his wife Carmen of Trout, La., one daughter Dayna Yocum of Little Rock, Ar., two brothers Huey M. Taylor of Houma, La., and Kevin L. Taylor of Gibson, La., one sister Kathy J. Taylor of Minden, and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m., in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Winnfield with Reverend Huey White officiating. Interment will follow in the Pineridge Cemetery near Goldonna, La.
Friends may visit with the family in the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
Pallbearers will be Travis Taylor, Allen Gaylor, Frank Taylor, Nick Taylor, Elija Guilliams, and Darrell White. Honorary pallbeares will be Ken Taylor and Terry Taylor.
