"Tio Pepe" was one of two of my father's step-brothers. He was married twice, lastly to Juanita and never had any children.

I have fond memories of my uncle coming to visit him and always offering us a beverage and snack while my dad and he would fix up my dad's old 1966 Ford Falcon. He and his wife were great to me and I miss them very much.

My uncle died on my twentieth birthday with my loving parents and his wife by his side. I remember wanting to go to the hospice and my mother telling me to stay home since I had a cold that day.

My uncle had stage four bone and lung cancer. I learned from him never to smoke gladly I listened.

Never forget you Tio Pepe.
