Anna Marie Allison, 91, died at 3:40 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, at The Waters of Covington, Indiana.

She was born Oct. 12, 1918, in Covington to Robert Earl and Mable Ruth Jackson Kenny. She married Lester K. Allison on Aug. 3, 1941 in Covington and he died Aug. 31, 1994.

Surviving are two sons, Jeffrey (Sue) of Covington and Joseph (Cindy) of Cypress, California; three sisters, Pauline (Ogle) Snider, Nancy (Ray) McDaniel and Gretchen (Lloyd) Chambers, all of Covington; two brothers, Charles (Emogene) Kenny of Crawfordsville, Indiana and Jack (Joan) Kenny of Decatur, Il.; three grandchildren, Tiffany (George) Wood, Tyler (Melissa) Allison and Summer (Ryan) Johnson and three great-grandchildren, Sierra and Teagan Allison and Reese Wood.

Her parents; two sisters, Marlis Davan and Mildred Woodrow and two brothers, Robert Kenny and John Kenny, also preceded her in death.

She was a registered nurse at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville for 43 years before retiring in 1982.
