Mrs. Annie Covode Reed, wife of county treasurer, James M. Reed, of Lockport, Westmoreland county, died suddenly of heart disease on Monday night of last week, at the residence of John Updegraff, in Fairfield tp. The deceased was a daughter of the late Hon. John Covode, and was the mother-in-law of the Rev. Dell Hazlett, of this place. She was aged 53 years, and her demise is a matter of deep regret to a large circle of friends.
