Beloved husband of Genevieve (nee Moser). Further survived by a sister-in-law Evelyn Anschuetz; 3 nephews: Gilbert, Douglas (Pamela) and Ronald (Cathleen), many other relatives and friends. Alvin was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Melvin and Raymond, and a sister-in-law Laura.

Funeral Service Monday, June 26, 6:00 PM with American Legion Service at 5:45 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church, W61 N498 Washington Ave. Cedarburg. Interment Immanuel Cemetery. In state at the church Monday, 4:30 PM until time of Service.

A funeral service was held on June 26 at Immanuel Lutheran Church for Alvin G. Anschuetz of Cedarburg. Alvin died at the Lasata Care Center on Friday, June 23, 2006 at the age of 99.

Visitation was held at the church on Monday prior to the funeral service.

Interment took place at Immanuel Cemetery.

Alvin was born on Feb. 2, 1907, the son of the late Charles and Rose (nee Rilling) Anschuetz. Alvin and Genevieve Moser were married on June 28, 1947 at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Alvin retired from Briggs and Stratton Corporation after working there for 31 years.

He also served his country in the U.S.Army for three years and later joined the Cedarburg American Legion Post #288, where he was a member for over 50 years. Alvin was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and served on the church council.

He was also a member of the dart ball team. Alvin enjoyed playing cards and was always happy.

Alvin's family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff and caregivers at Lasata Care Center for the wonderful care Alvin received.
