Mrs. Etsie B. Hannaman, 71, of 1108 8th St., died at St. Joseph's hospital Saturday following a short illness.
She was born February 8 1883, at Newark, W. Va, and was the daughter of Harvey E. and Harriett Hall Bailey.

Survivors include one son L. B. "Ducky" Hannaman of Arlington, Va, one daughter Miss Mildred E. Hannaman of Parkersburg, and one sister, Mrs. Martha Whitlatch of Marietta, three grandchildren, Kent, David, and Lindy Hannaman and several nieces and nephews.
Before coming here 31 year ago she operated the Bailey House, the only hotel in the Newark area.
Funeral services are incomplete. The body is at the Vaughn funeral home where friends may call after 7 p.m. this evening.
