Schmucker. --- Adam, son of Eli and Anna (Farey) Schmucker, was born near Middlebranch, Ohio, Aug. 10, 1887; passed away March 18, 1950; aged 62 y. 7 m. 8d. Death resulted form his being hit by an automobile near his home at Oyster Point, Va. He was married to Effie Yoder. He was preceded in death by his mother in 1891, his father in 1919, and a stepmother (Mrs. Anna Schmucker) in 1909. Surviving are his wife and son (Donald Wayne), 4 brothers (David, Simon, of Alliance; Eli, Louisville; and Edwin, Urbana, Ohio), 4 sisters (Bena, Louisville, Ohio; Eva, Alliance, Ohio; Della-Mrs. Oscar Hostetler; Katie-Mrs. Aaron Hostetler, also of Ohio). Funeral services were held at the Warwick River Mennonite Church, Denbigh, Va., by Thomas Brunk and Orrie D. Yoder. Interment was made in the near-by cemetery.
