Daughter of William & Mary Jane Mason Cooper

Mary Janelta Cooper was born near Winchester, Ill., April 4, 1854 and died at her home in Manchester, Ill., Monday, June 28, 1926, aged 72 years, 2, months and 24 days. Aunt Jane had been in failing health for two years of a complication of diseases and had suffered severely for the last few months.
She was a member of the Presbyterian church and had spent her entire life in this community. She leaves one son, Otis Cooper of Fullerton, Calif., three grandchildren, Lois Wilbur and Charles Cooper of Fullerton, Calif., also four brothers, William of South Pasadena, Cal.; Robert of Roodhouse, Stephen of Manchester and Charles of Winchester, Ill., besides numerous other relatives and a host of kind friends who did everything possible for her in her weeks of suffering.
The funeral services were held at her home in Manchester at 1:30 o'clock Tuesday, June 29th in charge of Rev. N. M. Antrobus, a life long friend of the family. Music was furnished by a quartet composed of Miss Louise Pearce, Mrs. J. H. Langdon, M. W. Story and C.L. Leitze.
The flowers were cared for by four nieces, Mrs. Clyde Chapman, Mrs. Ernest Cooper, Mrs. Geo. Cooper, Mrs. Leonard Cooper. The bjearers were 5 nephews of the deceased Leonard, George, Ernest and Edward Cooper, Clyde Chapman and John Akers an old friend. Interment was in the Winchester cemetery.
