DUNLAP, Iowa -- Deloris Andrews, 73, of Dunlap died Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, at Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison, Iowa.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Dunlap. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Dunlap. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, with the family present 5 to 8 p.m., at Fouts Funeral Home in Dunlap.

Deloris was born Nov. 19, 1929, in Crawford County, Iowa, to Paul A. and Dora M. (Pace) Price. She attended school in Dow City, Iowa.

On Jan. 7, 1949, Dee married Howard Andrews. The couple lived and farmed in the Moorhead area. In 1974 Dee became an LPN. She was a nurse at Dr. Gammel's office in Dunlap, worked at Crawford County Memorial Hospital, and at nursing homes in Dunlap, Woodbine and Onawa, Iowa. In 1990 the couple moved to Brush, Colo., where Dee worked at a nursing home. In the fall of 2002, they moved back to Dunlap.

Dee was currently a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Dunlap and a former member of Bethesda Lutheran Church in Moorhead. She enjoyed collecting owls, traveling, watching birds and reading.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Howard Andrews of Dunlap; a son, Vernon Andrews and his friend, Laurie Ehlers of Denison, Iowa; a daughter, Marilyn Fineran and her husband, Dennis of Craig, Colo.; two grandsons, Jeremy and Jason Fineran; her mother, Dora Price of Brush, Colo.; three sisters, Jean Benton and her husband, Mel of Brush, Anna Samuelson of Dunlap, and Juanita Bowman and her husband, Philip of Pueblo, Colo; and two brothers, Paul Marvin Price and Dennis H. Price, both of Denver, Colo.

She was preceded in death by her father.
