Mrs. August Ahlswede, 62, of 502 New York Ave., Manitowoc, died early Saturday
morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Urbanek and Schlei
Funeral Home, Manitowoc, the Rev. Harvey Rakow officiating, and burial will be
in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The former Emma Neiphaus was born in the town of Kossuth Oct 4, 1891, and was
married to Mr. Ahlswede Dec. 7, 1918, and moved to Manitowoc.
She is survived by the husband, a son, Lester, and a brother, Edwin Neiphaus of
Manitowoc.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Monday.
