She was born Feb. 13, 1931, in Springfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon C. McConkey, in 1992; a brother.
She leaves three daughters and sons-in-law, Sara and James Monroe, Brenda and David Warner and Mary Beth and Jeff Cheeseman; seven grandchildren; three sisters; six brothers; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral mass and burial was today in Springfield.
