Funeral services for Tennie Lavada Wyatt, 84, of Crossville, who passed away Aug. 29, 1999, were held Sept. 1 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with burial in New Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Billy Smith officiated, with special music by Robert and Angie Burgess and Joe Wyatt.
She was born April 5, 1915 in Bledsoe County, TN, the daughter of Robert and Mary Lou Parks Hamilton.
Mrs. Wyatt was a homemaker, and she was a charter member of Faith Baptist Church. She was a long-time active member of 127 South Senior Citizens.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary Morrison of Idaho, Stephanie Davis of Oak Ridge, TN, Sue Smith of Kingston, TN, and Joyce Kerley of Crossville; sons, Julian T. "J.T." Wyatt Jr. of Crossville, and Danny Wyatt of Texas; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jeff Burgess, Robert Burgess, Joe Wyatt, Matthew Kerley, Dale Hargis and Jerry Hamiliton. Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
