Allen was [2nd] married to Harriet Augusta (Charles) Keesy ["Hattie"] (14 Sept 1856 - 1 May 1929) on 9 Feb 1875 by Rev. William Mathers of Oceola, Crawford County, Ohio.

She was born in Freedom, Wood County, Ohio, to Freeborn Kille (1871-1933) and Cora (VanAlst) Kille Taylor (1871-1955). Mabel died in Contra Costa, California.
