Langston; four brothers, Benson Chowning, Fort Worth; Eliza Chowning, Calif., Burnett Chowning, Georgia; Leonard Chowning Denver, Colo.; two sisters, Mrs. Pat Kennedy, Calif., Mrs. Alice Turpin, Rosewell, N. M.; two grandchildren.

Services 4 p.m. Monday, Forney Ave. Baptist Church, 5144 Dolphin Rd., Rev. Don Miller officiating. Interment Grove Hill. Pallbearers; Clarence Hall, T. C. Conger, R. G. Sims, A. M. Arnett, L. H. Collins, Earl Jenkins.
