Franklin and Emma's history

He was born while his parents were crossing the plains in the vicinity of Ash Hallow in Nebraska. He was 3 months old when his family came to the Great Salt Lake Valley in Utah.
Franklin was quite a musician and with his brothers would play the accordian and the young people would come from Hamblin and Pinto and Pine Valley for their parties and dances.
Franklin took very well with the young people, he was a fine singer and an entertainer. He played all kinds of music and he loved to dance. One night he spied a black eyed, rose cheeked girl, very outstanding and good looking. He watched her and at last he met her. He was rather shy when he was around her, she had other fellows. He thought she was the nicest girl of all, so he kept on dancing with her and he finally asked her if she would let him take her home.
Franklin and Emma were married on the 6th July 1874 in Salt Lake City.
