William A. Endres, 64, of 25 South Charter Street, died at his home on Sunday. Mr Endres was a lifelong resident of the Madison area. He was born on 9 July 1891, the son of Franz X. Endres and the former Elizabeth Karls, in the Town of Dane, in this county. Among the survivors are his wife, Dorothy; four sons, William G. of Lake Oswego, Oregon; Gregory R., 1005 High Street, Harold L., 1721 Porter Avenue, and Howard A., 2041 East Dayton Street; daughters, Kathleen "Kay" (G. Donald) Kraft, of Ramey Air Force Base, Puerto Rico, and Joan (Howard) Howe, 1216 Williamson Street; a sister, Philomena "Minnie" (Matt) Doll; and brothers, Frank Endres of Milwaukee and Albert Endres of Madison. He was predeceased by his parents; three sisters, Mary, Margaret, and Theresa; and brothers, Peter, Mathias "Matt," Alphonso "Al," Edward, Joseph, and Gregory. The body was taken to the Fitch-Lawrence-Ryan Funeral Home. Burial was done in the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. The funeral was held Tuesday, 13 Dec 1955, at 9:30 a.m. from St James Catholic Church, 1134 St James Court, Madison.
