MONDAY AFTERNOON
AT WEST CHAPEL

Funeral services for Gretchen Jeanet Leeman, 46, Pine Springs Route, will be held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock at West Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Joe Emanuel of the First Methodist Church will officiate and burial will be at Carlsbad Cemetery.

Born Jan. 10, 1909 at Gilman, Iowa, Mrs. Leeman came to Carlsbad in 1923. She attended public schools here and married Alfred Leeman in 1944. She was an employee of the telephone office here for many years.

Mrs. Leeman was a member of the Methodist Church and the Black River Extension Club. She had been in ill health for about two years.

Survivors include her husband, Alfred, and a brother, Buster Gunderson, both of Carlsbad, and a sister, Mrs. Mack Jones, Long Beach, Calif.

Pallbearers will be Dwight Lee, Jim Farrell, Bruce Garner, Emmett Barron, Wayne Everage and Tom Denny.
