Mrs. Mary A. Elgin, Poolesville, died Friday at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the widow of Dr. Arthur C. Elgin and had been a teacher in the Poolesville Elementary School for 40 years.
Survivors include three stepsons, Arthur C. Elgin, Chevy Chase, John E. Elgin, Gaithersburg, Charles W. Elgin, Poolesville, one brother, William Aldridge, Akron, Ohio, five sisters, Mrs. Bertha Welling, Mrs. Jane Pelford, Miss Florence Aldridge, Miss Agnes Aldridge, all of Akron, Ohio, Mrs. Amy Stewart, Pennsylvania.
Friends may call at the Hilton Funeral Home in Barnesville, today from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. from St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Poolesville. Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to St. Peters Episcopal Church, Poolesville.
