Luwella's father (Luke) was born Jan. 14, 1843, lived in Tecumseh as of the 1880 census, and died May 27, 1887 in Palma Sola, Manatee, FL.
I fear I may never be able to find out about Luke's burial. The original Palma Sola Church property and cemetery property was given by Mary's second husband Asa Pillsbury in 1886 (a year before Luke died.) It was a small village then, so I am sure Asa. Mary and Luke knew each other. The church was built in 1886 and cemetery property was available for burials. Since Luke died in Palma Sola, it makes sense he was buried there, probably one of the first graves. But the church burned in 1904, and I don't know if the records were burned as well.
