Gea married Henry Bono and lived on a farm 3 miles south of Edmore. They worked hard and had a good life. Gea was a seamstress for her family and others. She was her grandchildren's first teacher- Karen remembers Grandma Bono reading "Puss in Boots" and other old favorites to her at a very early age.
Gea died of a heart ailment at age 79 in her daughter Alice's (Mrs. Norman Christensen) home in Edmore.
