Charlotte York, the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy York, died at St. Anthony Hospital, Rockford, Illinois, March 29th, following an attack of flu and pneumonia. She was nine months and fifteen days old.
Her remains were brought to Alpha for burial at the Davis Chapel Cemetery, where Rev. Mintford Hicks held funeral services.
She is survived by her father and mother, two sisters, Dorothy, age nine and Doretha age seven, and one brother, Roy age three.
She was a lovely baby and will be sadly missed in the home and by the many relatives and friends of the family.
The family wishes to thank Rev. Hicks for his consoling words and the choir for the beautiful songs.
Those who attended the funeral services who live outside the State were Mrs. York's brother, Herschel Campbell and wife and son, of New Castle, Indiana and Mrs. Dudley McKinley, of Rockford, Illinois.
