MILWAUKIE -- (Special) Mrs. Kathleen S. Andrews, 1314 S.E. River Forest Road, died at an Oregon City hospital Friday, April 24, following a major operation. She was born February 12, 1901, in Portland and lived there all of her life. Mrs. Andrews was a graduate of Jefferson High School and Reed College, Portland. She taught general science for 11 years at Grant High School in Portland and took an active part in the Oak Grove Garden Club specializing in flower arrangments. Her grandfather, the late W.K. Scott, was a leader among early pioneers instrumental in building the (word not readable) section of Portland. She was also an active member of the St. John's Episcopal Church.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday April 28, at 2:30 PM from the Findleys Morning Light Chapel, 432 S. W. Fourth at Montgomery, Portland. Rev. Rob Roy Hardin will officiate and committal will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Survivors include the husband, Erwin T., two sons, Thomas S. and Donald Day at home, and one brother, Alexander R. Scott, Lake Grove.
