Lillian, of Dixon, passed away peacefully in Española. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Juan Jose and Santitos Griego; paternal grandfather Celso Suazo; parents Rumaldo Suazo and Cleotilde Griego-Suazo; her stepmother who raised her, Juanita Griego Suazo; brother Tobias Dennis Suazo, her son Harvey Arellano "who was the love of her life", and grandchildren Arnold Arellano, Jr. and Amos Arellano.

She was survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Jose Ignacio Arellano; daughter Velma Sanchez (husband Pastor Salomon Sanchez Jr.) of Dixon; son Arnold Arellano (wife Mary LouAnn) of Dixon; grandchildren: Dr. Reverend Salomon Sanchez III of Dixon; Elena Sanchez of Dixon; Daniel Arellano (companion Vera) of Dixon; and Harvey Arellano Jr. of Chimayo; sisters-in-law Bennie Suazo of Dixon; Marilyn Gomez of Santa Cruz; Margaret Ortiz of Taos; and Carlotta Martinez of Alamosa, Colorado; and brother-in-law Celestino Arellano of Wagon Mound as well as other relatives.

She was a native of Embudo and attended parochial schools in Dixon. A loving and hardworking wife and mother, Lillian and her husband tended to their apple orchards and property while raising their family. She is remembered as being a humble and patient person, sewing, cooking and baking delicious food, and enjoying reading her bible and listening to KDCE radio throughout the day. As her health would permit she would spend time with her fellow church parishioners at their family church; The Apostolic Praise Temple in Dixon.

A wake service was on 8 February 2010 at The Apostolic Praise Temple in Dixon. Funeral service was 9 February 2010 also at the same church with Pastor Salomon Sanchez, Jr. and Dr. Reverend Salomon Sanchez III officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery in Dixon. Pallbearers: Daniel Arellano, Harvey Arellano Jr., Michael Griego, Danny Lovato and Toby Suazo.
