Daily News (Frederick, MD) February 21, 1917

Mrs. Sarah Taylor Elgin, wife of James B. Elgin, died on February 12, aged 79 years. Death was caused by pneumonia.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Elgin is survived by two daughters, Miss Hattie Elgin, at home, and Miss Fannie Elgin, of Washington, D.C. Also two sons, Dr. W. Frank Elgin, and Charles Elgin, both of Philadelphia.

Funeral services were held at the home, conducted by Rev. M. T. Rabler. Burial at Monocacy cemetery, Beallsville.
