Mrs. Workman dies after auto mishap on I-75
Jellico, Tennessee - An 84 year old Frankfort resident died early today from injuries received in a Wednesday afternoon automobile accident two miles south of the Kentucky-Tennessee state line on Interstate 75.
Mrs. Thelma Workman, 84, was pronounced dead at Jellico Community Hospital after being thrown from a vehicle driven by her niece, Martha White, of Florida, according to a hospital spokesman. Mrs. Workman was going to spend the winter with Ms. White in Florida when the accident occurred. Services are pending at LeCompte Funeral Home.
