A memorial service will be held Saturday evening, September 26, 2009, at PARKS FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL at six o'clock. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the , 5900 Core Rd., Suite 504, N. Charleston, SC 29406.
Mr. Franks was born March 24, 1932 in Jasper, AL, a son of Bud Franks and Ada Townsend Franks. He was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War.
He was an air conditioner service technician.
Survivors include his wife, Barbra Franks of Summerville; four sons, Les Franks of James Island, Billy Franks of Summerville, Allan Dulaney of Camden, David Dulaney of St. Michaels, MD; two daughters, Ruth Reich of Gainesville, FL and Gayle Dulaney of Walterboro; twelve grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.
