Erminie Smith Bickford, born May 13, 1929, died February 18, 2005, in Whispering Firs Adult Family Home, Coupeville, Washington.

She was the daughter of Anna and Dr. William Smith, a well known old Everett family. Erimine attended Everett schools, St. Catherine Junior College in St. Paul, Minnesota, and graduated from Washington State College.

Erminie was an avid golfer and captain of the Everett Country Club Women's Golf Team for many years. She married Chester Bickford. His service in the U.S. Air Force found them stationed in Europe for many years.

Her loving friends want to thank her devoted neighbor, Vivian Fisher, who spent many months taking care of her while she lived in Coupeville, and Cynthia Trenshaw, her guardian, who gave her love and special care throughout her illness.
Erminie's final resting place will be in Sunnyside Cemetery beside her husband, Chester.
