Elizabeth Stephenson

Was born in Kenton county, KY., June 19, 1838, and departed this life October 1, 1910.

The deceased was married to J.L. Stephenson May 10, 1865. To this union were born two sons and one daughter, all of whom are living. At the age of thirteen years the deceased, with an older sister, assumed the duties of housekeeping and caring for their baby brother, who was but a few months old when their mother died, and faithfully she performed her work.

She united with the Christian church in her girlhood days and ever lived a christian life, manifesting that sweet spirit in such a large degree that one said of her that during an acquaintance of 40 years she had never known her to speak a cross word.

Funeral services were held from the home of her brother, J.H. Stephenson, October 5th, conducted by C.M. Myers of the Christian church.
