OBITUARY.
Artela June Chadd was born March 18, 1865. at St. Charles, Iowa, departed this life February 5, at the age of 73 years, 10 months and 18 days. She was united in marriage December 25, 1889, to George Benton Chadd of St. Charles, Iowa. To this union was born three children, one preceding her in death. Mr. and Mrs. Ci.add moved to the Sheldon vicinity some 30 years ago living there ever since. Mrs. Chadd gave her heart to God at the age of 30 and had been a willing worker for Him and trusting in Him until the last.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, George Benton Chadd, one son, Glenn Chadd, ore daughter, Mrs. Beulah McClellan, of Montrose, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren, one half-sister who lives in Iowa, also several nieces and nephews, besides a world of friends and neighbors.
Services were held February 6, at 2 p. m. at Olive Branch church, with Reverend A. E. Fousto officiating, and attended by a very large number of neighbors and friends. The Beeny and Sons Funeral Service was in charge.
