RAFVR Warrant Officer Walter Charles DUNCOMBE and RAFVR Warrant Officer Colin Edmond WRIGHT lost their lives in the crash of 254 Squadron's Bristol Beaufighter TFX (#RD434) aircraft; the Beaufighter suffered engine loss and crashed near Briningham.
