Mrs. Ella Bowers, passed away in this city at an early hour Sunday afternoon, her demise terminating a lengthy illness. She was a native of Kansas and was in her 52nd year at the time of her death. She leaves her husband, Bert Bowers, of Keno, Oregon; a son, Herman W. Lengel, of Prospect, Ore., a daughter, Mrs. Julia Hathaway of Ridgefield, Wash., three brothers, Joe Crampton and Herman Battson of Portland, Ore., and Royce Battson, Vancouver, Wash., two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Bumgardner and Mrs. Hazel Anderson of Vancouver, Wash. The remains are in the slumber room of the Klamath Funeral Home, 925 High street, where friends may call.

The remains of the late Ella Marcella Bowers, are being forwarded by the Klamath Funeral Home to Vancouver, Washington where final rites will be held under the auspices of the Pythian Sisters, in which order the now deceased held memebership. Mrs. Mary Lengle, a daughter-in-law is escorting the remains. The services will be held in Knapps Mortuary at Vancouver at a later date. Interment will be made in the family plot in Park Hill Memorial Park.
