Napoleon Vancleve White, (PoPo) a lifelong resident of Mobile, AL was born on May 9, 1955. He departed this life on Tuesday, September 28, 2010. He served in the United States Marine Corps as a sergeant for four years. He attended Williamson High School, the Class of 1974. He was preceded in death by his father, Napoleon Williams; stepfather, Willie L. Johnson; grandfather and grandmother, Deacon Willie B. and Willie Mae White; uncles Willie White Jr. and Tommie L. White. He is survived by three daughters, Flonetta White, Floretta Colson and Sandra (Quincy) Artis; and one stepson Emanuel Pringle, all of Raleigh, NC; a devoted mother Florida M. Johnson; four sisters Van Doris White, Sabina Williams, Floredia Fryer, and Addie (Aundra) Chaney; six grandchildren; an aunt, Bessie Reese; a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 6, 2010 from 9 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour at Smalls Mortuary Chapel, 950 South Broad Street, Mobile, AL.
