Bobby Toland
Bobby Ray Toland, 71, died Monday, December 10, 2001, at Trace Regional Hospital in Houston. He was born Nov. 28, 1930, in Woodland to Bobby L. and Edyth Louise Ray Toland. He was a retired AST and first sergeant eith the Mississippi National Guard at Houston and a retired employee of Houston Building Supply. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Houston, the Houston Masonic Lodge No. 67, Hamasa Shrine of Tupelo, the Scottish Rites, the Eastern Star, the VFW and the American Legion.

Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mike Childs and Dr. Bryan Scarbrough officiating. Burial was in the Chickasaw Memorial Gardens. Houston Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife Naomi Smith Toland of Houston; a daughter, Pam Laster of Woodland; a son, Terry Toland of Carlisle, Ark.:five grandchildren, John William Laster, James Robert Laster, Raymond Laster, Rachel Dawn Toland and Anna Marie Toland, his mother in law, Laura Lee Smith of Hosuton.

Pallbearers were Russell Lancaster, Rayburn Parks, Larry Arrington, Lee Nabors, Frank Thomas and Russell King.
