Olof E. Anderson, former Moline police patrol driver, passed away in Clarence, Iowa, Wednesday. Mr. Anderson had moved to that city last April, having been a resident of Moline for a number of years previous. His home in Moline was at 511 Twenty-second street.

He was born in Sweden March 20, 1881. He came to America 19 years ago and first settled in Clinton, Iowa, where he lived two years. He then came to Moline, where he made his home till removal to Clarence several months ago. Mr. Anderson through his connection with the police force, became well known in Moline, and many friends are grieved at word of his passing. He was a member of Moline homestead, Brotherhood of American Yoeman.

He leaves to mourn the widow, a daughter, Hazel, his aged parents in Sweden, four brothers and one sister. Brothers are: Anton, Minneapolis; Fred, Groningen, Minn.; Herman, Moline; and Nels, residing in the west at present. Mrs. A. S. Mott of Sac City, Iowa, is the sister.

Remains have been brought to Moline and funeral services will be held at the Charles Haden home, 2522 Fifth avenue, at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Rev. A. F. Bergstrom of the Swedish Lutheran church will officiate and burial will be in Riverside cemetery.
