Franz Christian Kuhn, Detroit born and Mt. Clemens raised, studied law at Michigan, graduating in 1894. He was appointed Attorney-General in 1910, was subsequently elected to the same office, and in 1912 was appointed to the Supreme Court of the state to succeed Mr. Justice Blair. He was elected in the same year, and resigned in 1919.
