She was born March 2, 1922 in Franklin County, IL. She lived in the local area for fifty-seven years and worked for General Dynamics as a tool crib operator for twenty-seven years. Carlene was a lifetime member of the PTA and she enjoyed many years of camping and fishing with her husband.
Carlene is survived by her husband, Ray Hill, three daughters, Jeannie, Debbie, and Karen, step-sons Bob & Larry, sisters Sandi and Penny, one brother, Jay, ten grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her stepson Ron, parents Lester Cook and Iva Palmer, sisters Joyce, Naomi & Gerry.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn, Covina.
