DOROTHY SCHEUERMAN, born April 5, 1932, in Bucklin, KS, passed away March 21, 2009, in Yucaipa, CA, after a brave battle with cancer. She was 76. Dorothy was the eighth of nine children born to Jesse & Mabel Sprott. She lived for several years in Dodge City, KS, where she met the love of her life, Doran Scheuerman. They were married in 1950. They also lived in the Mancos/Cortez, CO. area for several years before moving to California in 1960. She worked for Ritchie's Coffee Shop in San Bernardino, CA, before beginning a new career at World Savings serving over 25 years before retiring. She is survived by a sister, Edith of Engalls, KS; and brother, Glenn of Marlow England. Dorothy was also blessed with sons, Mark (Dee) and Michael (Katt); three Grandsons, Alex (Tiffany), James, and Paul. She was also the very proud Great Grandmother of her Great Grandson, Vaughn. Dorothy loved her family and was most happy when s he could spend time with them. We are happy now that she will join in heaven all the people she loved so dearly: Mama, Papa, Dale, Merle, Lloyd, Ruby, Esther, and Doran. Services will be held Friday, March 27, 2009, at 2:00 P.M. at Green Acres Mortuary, 11715 Cedar Ave., Bloomington, CA. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Redlands Community Hospital (RCH) Hospice Program, 350 Terracina Blvd., Redlands, CA 92373-0724. The services they provided to the family were a blessing.
