Paris, or as she was known, by the tag hanging on her neck, in the ASPSA shelter, in Boston's Southend, #39, picked me as her person. I had thought I was picking a cat, but that was not the case. She was chosen to be a companion, for our puppy Tyler, but that was not the case either. Neither of them really acknoledged either's existence, ever. Paris lived in 2 apartments in Boston, then a house, in Austin, Tx, another apartment in Fort Lauderdale, and then the house of her dreams, in Boynton Beach, with a fenced in yard, and a fish pond. In Boston she proved an excelant mouser, surprising us, with her prey, being left in our bathtub. Though she tolerated, her "People", outsiders were another story. Children visitors would pass on the warning "Stay away from the Black and White Cat, she is mean". Paris outlived her Dogs, Tyler, and Spencer, and her other cat Putney, but is survived by her Dog Widget. She is buried, nexted to her pond, near the island she would sleep on.
