Mr. Geimausaddle died Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, in Oklahoma City.
Burial will be in the Walters City Cemetery under direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home.
He was born Oct. 15, 1958, in Lawton to Howard and Rose Nahquady Geimausaddle. He was raised in the Lawton area. He attended school at the Fort Sill and Riverside Indian Schools where he excelled in football and track. He had a zest for life and was always in a positive mood. He was an outgoing person with a sweet attitude and enjoyed being with his many friends around the Oklahoma City area. He enjoyed watching University of Oklahoma football, playing bingo, attending pow-wows, drawing, but most of all coming to Lawton to visit his sister and brothers. He was a proud member of the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma and also of Kiowa descent.
Survivors include daughter; a son, Jason Geimausaddle, Harrah; a sister, Barbara Tahchawwickah, Lawton; three brothers: Terry Geimausaddle and Kenneth Geimausaddle, both of Walters and Victor "Vic" Youngman, Fort Cobb; an uncle, Edward Nahquady Sr. and numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents: Edward Albert and Victoria Motherme Nahquady and Jarvis and Toyoodle Geimausaddle; three brothers: Glen Kaulaity, Rueben Hardin and Ronald "Red" Geimausaddle Sr. and two sisters: Janice Rose Geimausaddle and Terena Rose Geimausaddle.
A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Comanche Nation Funeral Home Chapel.
